Indiana Families United for Care was honored to receive the 2025 Family Advocate Award from the The Arc of Indiana at its annual Impact Awards Luncheon. This recognition reflects the collective advocacy of families across Indiana working to strengthen supports and improve outcomes for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
The award highlights the ongoing commitment of families who work diligently to elevate lived experience in policy discussions and advance thoughtful, sustainable solutions for Indiana’s disability service system. It reinforces Indiana Families United for Care’s role as a collaborative, solutions-focused voice within the state.
We are also grateful for the pro bono public relations support of Lindsay Haake, whose expertise has helped expand awareness and visibility of our mission.
The event recognized additional leaders for their contributions to Indiana’s disability community, including Lt. Governor Suzanne Crouch, recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award, and State Representative Ed Clere, who was named Legislator of the Year.
This recognition serves as both an affirmation of progress and a reminder of the work that remains. Indiana Families United for Care remains committed to strengthening systems, supporting individuals, and advancing policies that promote long-term stability and improved quality of life.
